Summer Hockey
Summer Hockey
In Term 4, we welcome all Year 1 to 6 boys and girls who are interested in playing hockey to sign up for Summer Hockey.
There are no separate coaching sessions required. Summer Hockey has a more relaxed atmosphere and is a great opportunity to learn a new sport or play hockey with some friends.
Summer Hockey runs on Mondays and Tuesdays and all games are 30 minutes in duration.
Year 1&2: Fun Sicks
Year 3&4: Mini Sticks
Year 5&6: Kiwi Sticks
Mouth guard, shin pads and sticks are compulsory for all players.
KingsWay School has a selection of hockey sticks available to use for the first couple of weeks for those who would like to try this sport.
We ask that each team has one or two dedicated parents or siblings who are willing to umpire, or learn to umpire, for each game. If we are unable to secure this commitment, unfortunately we cannot enter a team. To keep registration fees as low as possible, we have not included an additional cost to cover paid umpires for summer hockey.
Thank you for your support.
