Senior School Uniform Requirements
The KingsWay School uniform helps to bring sense of belonging and mutual respect for members of our community. Our uniform is distinctive, setting our students apart and is expected to be worn to a high standard in keeping with uniform code regulations. When students are in school uniform, school rules apply, and conduct should reflect our school values and special character.
Students can choose to wear combinations of uniform as stipulated by the uniform code. Uniform is to be purchased from the school Uniform Shop. Non-uniform items are NOT accepted.
- Navy mid-calf skirt OR knee-length school skirt OR school trousers (closed school shoes with socks must be worn with school trousers)
The poster below shows the regulations for skirt lengths for both Middle Years and Senior School girls.

- White blouse
- School blazer OR school jumper OR school jacket
- Black flat sandals (back strap compulsory) OR black polishable shoes (no boots, high-tops, sports shoes or casual shoes) with black opaque stockings/tights OR plain white visible ankle socks
- Plain scarf: Black, white, or navy

KingsWay School Ties:
School ties MUST be worn when wearing school blazers.
Years 11–12 must wear the striped school tie
Year 13 should wear the plain tie
The Scholar’s Tie may be worn by eligible students
Girls: Hair & Jewellery
- Hairstyles for girls need to be neat and tidy and off the face
- Hair ties and bands: black, white, navy, blue (no patterns)
- Only natural hair colours are permitted
- Girls may wear one small plain ear stud at the bottom of each ear lobe. Gold and silver only
- No visible makeup is to be worn
- Only clear nail polish may be worn
- Girls may wear one plain, flat ring
- Girls may wear a watch
NOTE: Tattoos must not be visible when wearing school uniform including sporting/PE uniform.
- Navy school shorts OR school trousers (closed school shoes with socks must be worn with school trousers)
- Long-sleeved white shirt with the school logo
- Black flat sandals (back heel strap compulsory) or black polishable shoes (no boots, high-tops, sports shoes or casual shoes) with school socks (with shorts) OR navy/black socks (with trousers).
- Plain black belt
- School blazer OR school jumper OR school jacket
- KingsWay School Ties:
School ties MUST be worn when wearing school blazers.
Years 11–12 must wear the striped school tie
Year 13 should wear the plain tie
The Scholar’s Tie may be worn by eligible students
NOTE:
- When trousers are worn, closed school shoes with socks must be worn.
- When the school blazer is worn, shirts must be tucked in.
Hair & Jewellery
- Hairstyles for boys need to be neat and tidy and off the face
- Only natural hair colours are permitted
- No visible piercings
- Boys may wear one plain, flat ring
- Face to be clean-shaven
NOTE: Tattoos must not be visible when wearing school uniform including sporting/PE uniform.
Every year, the school has to dispose of many items since their owners have not claimed them. To ensure the return of garments, all clothing must be clearly named. Lunchboxes should also have permanent labels affixed or be clearly named.
If your child misplaces any items, they are to check the lost property drawers located in the corridor next to the student reception area (Senior Campus).
