Kia ora, my name is Sitong (Michelle). My family and I have admired the school’s commitment to academic excellence and its foundational mission to educate students in a Christ-centred environment, equipping them to serve God and others. It is an honour to contribute my skills and experience to support this vital mission.
I am an educator, a teacher and a researcher. I hold a PhD in Management, and my research area focuses on Corporate Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics. I have been lecturing in the past 10 years across New Zealand Tertiary institutions such as the University of Auckland, Massey University, Unitec Institute of Technology, and Whitireia and Wellington Institute of Technology. I am an Associate Editor for Corporate Governance: The International Journal of Business in Society, and on the Editorial Board of Journal of Sustainable Business. I am also committee board member for the Australasian Business Ethics Network (ABEN) and a Research Associate for the New Zealand Asia Institute (NZAI). I am confident that this professional background would be an asset to the Board as it navigates the opportunities and challenges of leading a dynamic educational institution.
My goal would be to work collaboratively with the Board, Administration, and school community to ensure KingsWay continues to thrive as a beacon of faith and learning for generations to come.
