Season Information:
Senior Volleyball (Year 11 – 13) – Term 1, 2026
Game details:
- Wednesday afternoons for Boys and Girls Senior Super League. Season is from 4th February (TBC)
- Friday afternoons for Senior First Team Boys and Girls Premier League. Season is from 13th February
Venues:
Games venue is to be confirmed. They vary each week according to the draw list.
Training:
Dependant on the team that the student is placed in. Lunchtime trainings still to be decided.
Trials:
Trials will take place on
- Girls: Monday 20th October and Tuesday 21st October, Lunchtime
- Boys: Wednesday 22nd October and Friday 24th October, Lunchtime
- Trials will take place in the Events Centre. Should another trail date be necessary, students will be notified.
Friday afternoon social ‘rock up and play’ session
Any student from Year 7 – year 13 is invited to join social volleyball on a Friday after school between 3.30pm – 5pm.
The cost for this in 2026 is $15 per term. ‘Click Here’ to sign up.

Senior First Team (Boys and Girls) players have the opportunity to:
- Play in Auckland Senior Volleyball Champs at the Pullman Arena on 11th – 13th March
- Play in the Premier League as both teams have qualified
- Play in the North Island Secondary Schools Championships in Palmerston North on 23rd – 27th March. Travel will be from Saturday 20th March
Membership requirements
- Important: All players, coaches, trainers, and managers must be registered VNZ members before participating in any Inter-Provincial Competition (IPC), Zone qualifying league/tournament, or other VNZ events and programmes including Secondary School events. Memberships are valid for one year and must be renewed annually. Secondary School Student Membership $21 inc GST
Note: Athletes competing in all NZ Secondary Schools Volleyball Competitions now need to purchase Student memberships: https://www.sporty.co.nz/VNZ/about-us/vnz-membership
Fees & Registrations 2026
We have a limited amount of vans that will be shared across teams throughout the season therefore we cannot guarantee that they will be accessible for every team every week. Therefore, parents will be responsible for arranging transport or carpooling for their children to and from game venues.
Senior Super League Volleyball Fees: $ 115 (All teams except 1st Team)
Senior 1 Volleyball Super League and Premier Girls *- $160 (Coach: Mr Bellingham)
Senior 1 Volleyball Super League and Premier Boys * – $ 235 (Coach: Mike Marshall)
*Please note that the Premier fees are included in these amounts and therefore more than the normal Super League fees.
Auckland Champs:
Students in the 1st Teams will have the opportunity to attend this event at Bruce Pullman Park on the 11th – 13th of March 2026 (to be confirmed). There is a further payment for Auckland Champs if you are in the Boys and Girls 1st team of approx. $350-$450.
1st Teams – Deposit for Auckland Champs of $50
Nationals:
Students in the 1st Teams will have the opportunity to attend this event in Palmeston North on 23rd – 27th of March 2026 (to be confirmed) There is a further payment for Nationals if you are in the Boys and Girls 1st team of approx. $1000.
1st Teams – Deposit for National Tournament of $100
