The Junior Secondary school makes its home in Te Kāinga (The village). Te Kāinga is designed to be a hub of learning excellence where Year 10 students’ individual needs are catered for. Students are taught skills to support them in their chosen pathways, in engaging and relevant contexts. We utilise innovative learning environments as well as research-based strategies and educational approaches to ensure that we are supporting positive outcomes and nurturing student autonomy. The students are known individually by the teachers across Te Kāinga. Students are discipled and supported through their early adolescence and leave with every opportunity to succeed in their Senior years. Our specialist teachers are passionate, motivated, and create effective partnerships with the students and whānau.
